With Houseparty, there’s no agency or middleperson! You’ll deal directly with a member of the band from first enquiry to last song, so if you’ve got a question, you’ll get an answer from someone who’ll actually be on stage.

It’s rare that a member of the band can’t make a gig, but we have a long list of musicians that we know and trust, so the show goes ahead as promised. If one of the band can’t make it, we will let you know in as much time as possible to avoid any dissapointment.

Our setlists are tried, tested and built to keep a dancefloor full, and learning a bespoke setlist for every event simply isn’t sustainable. What you can do is tell us which genres and eras you love most. Whether that’s cheesy 90s pop, Kerrang classics or big dance anthems, we’ll weight the night towards them. You get a set shaped around your crowd, and we get to avoid learning a song at 2am that only your Uncle Keith has heard of.

We’ll need roughly 3m x 3m space to set up and 4 plug sockets, plus about 1.5 hours to set up and soundcheck before your guests arrive. If you’re not sure your venue can accommodate these requirements, send us the details and we can work around any specific requirements.

We bring a full PA system and lighting rig, so there’s nothing extra for you to hire or organise. We keep our set up tidy and the cables out of your guests’ way, because nobody wants to trip over a wire during a first dance.

Yes, and we’ve done it plenty. Noise limiters and performance curfews are becoming more and more common amongst venues. If your venue has a sound limiter or a strict finish time, please let us know in plenty of time and we’ll adjust our setup and levels to suit, and we’ll still bring the party. We can keep the volume down, but never the energy!

Yes. We carry PLI (Public Liability Insurance) and all our electrical equipment is PAT tested. We’re happy to send the paperwork to you or your venue on request. It’s the boring bit, but it’s the bit that lets everyone relax.

Drop us a message with your date, venue and a rough idea of the night, and we’ll confirm availability quickly. A 20% deposit secures your date, but popular dates (summer Saturdays, we’re looking at you) get booked up early, so the sooner the better. In the regrettable instance that we are unavailable, we will always recommend other bands and suppliers who we know and trust.
